Very good book for the young engineer 2004-10-12 Easy to understand, easy to follow... It gives a very good notion of structural design for seismic protection for various types od structures. There are no complex mathematical formulas or sophisticated explanations of member behaviours. It is not definitelly for advanced design yet a good introduction to aseimic design and very helpful for young engineers. I got this book from my university library by chance yesterday, and I ordered it today. It is a good book to keep in my library...
Design for Earthquakes 2001-03-16 This book is good for engineers and architects who are looking for basic concept of seismic design. It is easy to understand. It's not a book for preparation of CA seismic test for civil engineer. It does not have many complicated formulas but it has many illustrations, do and don't's in designs. I recommend to people who want to learn about earthquake without having to know all the complicated formulas & technical jargons.
