Editorial Review:
Considering maintenance from a proactive, rather than reactive, perspective, Maintenance Excellence details the strategies, tools, and solutions for maximizing the productivity of physical assets—focusing on profitability potential. The editors address contemporary concerns, key terms, data requirements, critical methodologies, and essential mathematical needs. They present maintenance in a business context, review planning, measurement, feedback, and techniques related to cost, efficiency, and results, and summarize applications of tools and software from statistics and neural networks to cost-optimized models.

Excellent resource....its in its own class 2006-08-07
This book is filled with so much great information it is hard to define a starting point. The owner of our company suggested this book and what a book it is. Here are some of the topics covered: risk analysis, condition based maintenance, maintenance optimization, Total Productive Maintenance, and many more subjects centered around maintenance. This book is well worth the publishers price and even a better steal at Amazon's price. You will be hard pressed to find a better book that has all of this information in it. Also this book talkes about information technology, chronically overlooked key to maintenance excellence. Purchase this book, you cannot go wrong.
