My fiance called me a week before our wedding date. Telling me that he can’t marry me anymore. He didn’t give me any reason, he just hanged up. I was so devastated. It was like a joke. I just couldn’t believe it at all. I spent days thinking and wondering what went wrong. Time passed by, I realized I have to stop crying and just find some form of entertainment. Then I played texas holdem poker and I also tried Omaha poker. It helped me a lot. I played online poker everytime I’m sad. When you go through this kind of heartbreak, it’s really hard. It’s difficult because you already gave your heart to someone and trusted them with everything. You build your dreams with that person. You even saw yourself grow old with that person. There were plans made with him and names of children. He was definitely my life. He was there for me for a long time and it came to a point that I couldn’t think of anyone I can depend on but him. I loved him more than my family that’s why what he did left me devastated. It was like a nightmare that I thought is not true. I never saw any sign this will ever happen. We were a happy couple that’s why I couldn’t find a reason why he had to do this. Until now, I can’t seem to understand that’s why I’m finding ways to just forget it and maybe one way I’d be able to understand everything.
